Steam Bent Lamp
PERSONAL PROJECT | 3D MODELLING, RENDERING, AND WOODWORKING
I’ve been interested in exploring steam bending for a very long time. This project was initially sparked by the need to replace a lamp in my home, and as a designer and maker, I obviously wanted to design my own.
I'm currently working on a 1:2 scale version and hopefully will finish the full size version later this year.

PERSONAL PROJECT | DESIGN, PATTERNING, AND SEWING
In late 2023, I took a month-long trip around Europe. I wanted to take minimal luggage while moving around planes, trains, and cities, so I designed a bag that could effectively fit everything I needed. I designed and made the bag in about a week right before I left with whatever materials I had on hand, so there are many things I would have done differently with more time, but overall I've found it a super effective design, and I will definitely keep using it when I travel in the future.

FREELANCE | 3D MODELLING
This project has a bit of backstory, but long story short, I have been helping to create the perfect "bad" controller for a Mario Kart 64 speedrunner.

SCHOOL PROJECT | DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
This project was my introduction to waterproof soft products. I started by altering a standard block to create a custom fit and add design lines. I then made a full prototype jacket as well as prototyping parts. I sewed the final prototype with three layer Gore-Tex and created a techpack to go with it. This entire project was designed, patterned, and made within one week.

Electric Viola
PERSONAL PROJECT | WOODWORKING
My sister used to play viola, but it was expensive to rent from the music store, and she didn’t want to be forced to play. This instrument was entirely hand carved over the course of a summer using mainly recycled materials. The body is made from cedar leftover from the neighbor’s construction business, the fingerboard is made from massaranduba leftover from hardwood flooring, and the bridge is made from maple, rescued from a fire pit.
