Eleven Stories Furniture
BRIEF:
In 2023, as one of my last projects at Bicego Design, I worked with Alberto Bicego on his and architect Don Gurney's line of high-end, west coast-inspired, Italian-made furniture for Eleven Stories Furniture. My main involvement was adjusting 3D models and technical drawings to prepare for manufacture and creating renders and visualizations.
3D Modelling
All the initial models required some adjustments, both for rendering and manufacturability. The design primarily uses sheet metal, marble, and leather. The hard components were all modelled in SoldWorks, and I taught myself Blender to create realistic leather cushions and details like seams and stitches.
Rendering
Renders were created with KeyShot with post processing in Photoshop. Eleven Stories required a variety of individual and in context renders to showcase their designs.
2024 Updates
In August 2024, Eleven Stories reached out to have me create some updated renders with new materials and colourways. These renders, along with the latest prototypes, were showcased at IDS West in September 2024.
